Deborah Dolen, author of the Soap Rebatched points out that rebatching is also great for scent retention whether you are using essential oils or fragrance oils. For example, Bulgarian Lavender essential oil retains its scent throw and attributes far more in the rebatch method than if it were all poured into the lye process. Deborah Dolen feels the retention of scent is increased threefold and very advantageous for those wanting hard scented bars that last. |
